Renovation, restoration and interior design of an historic Arts & Crafts style home in North West London

Arts & Crafts House Renovation: Hampstead Garden Suburb, North West London

After the success of another Arts & Crafts restoration project in Hampstead Garden Suburb we restored and designed the interiors of this Lutyens style house, which again was protected by The Hampstead Garden Trust. Having been stripped of all the original features that one would expect to find in an Arts & Crafts house we reinstated the key elements and replaced any modern additions with pieces more in keeping with the original style. The re-use of the original doors, sourcing of wood and stone floor finishes, reclaimed fire surrounds, combination of antique and modern light fittings and furnishings alongside the bespoke joinery that we designed, are prime examples of these additions.

We designed the bespoke kitchen in-house to suit our clients’ busy family and social needs and commissioned its manufacture with a trusted maker. We designed every aspect of the interiors and sourced an array of vintage and antique pieces to fully furnish the house alongside new commissions.
